Explore the magical world of colour effects with our Watercolour and Line Painting Experience – great for complete beginners and ideal if you ‘ve already been painting a while, this workshop is perfect for all levels of experience and enables you to develop your creativity. Led by Gill Mannings Cox (renowned for her work in glass and in watercolour), who lives nearby and who has work in National Galleries world-wide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London and the Royal Collection.
Let your creativity flow and draw whatever sparks your imagination here at the farm. There is exciting countryside to explore here, in broad landscape and in woodland detail. The river scenes and skyscapes change almost as you watch. Closer to home there is intricate architectural details to the delightful antics of our chickens and ducks, inspiration abounds at every corner. The subject is yours to choose – let the surroundings guide your artistic journey!
You can choose from a 3 hour session up to 5 hours – with the longer option allowing time for a walk to your groups chosen location to sketch before returning to work on the final piece. Even if you do not complete your work, you will leave with the skills to finish in your own time.
The experience is all about relaxation, creativity, and enjoyment. With guidance from Gill, you’ll not only learn practical techniques but also create lasting memories with your beautiful painting to take home.
